A whole town joins the search for a GP
Temora Shire Council and Temora Medical Centre
A Great Quack Quest
When Temora needed to attract a GP, a conventional recruitment ad was never going to capture the town. We helped turn the search into The Great Quack Quest: a music video and integrated campaign powered by local people, humour and a shared determination to be heard.

The Challenge
Temora needed to recruit a GP while regional communities across Australia were competing for scarce medical staff. An ordinary vacancy advertisement could not convey what it would feel like to live and work there.
Our Response
We turned the search into The Great Quack Quest. More than 100 locals took part in a playful music video at the centre of a wider social, digital and PR campaign. The humour caught attention; the community showed prospective doctors the people behind the opportunity.
The Outcome
The campaign gave Temora a distinctive voice in a crowded recruitment market and generated strong local participation and national media coverage. The video passed 100,000 organic views within its first few days, with estimated campaign reach exceeding four million within three months.
