Making locally led ideas visible beyond their communities

FRRR + Backing the Future
Big ideas often begin with one person who sees what their community needs. We developed the visual identity for Backing the Future and produced films that bring regional changemakers and their ideas into focus, helping the initiative feel fresh and accessible while carrying the trust of the foundation behind it.

Our Role
Brand identity, story strategy, regional filming, interviewing, editing and impact storytelling
The Challenge
Backing the Future supports people developing new opportunities for young people in regional communities. The films needed to show more than what a grant paid for: why each idea mattered, who was driving it and what local leadership could make possible.
Our Response
We developed a distinct identity for the initiative and travelled to regional communities to film the people behind the projects. Interviews, everyday moments and a strong sense of place give each story its own character while connecting it to the broader purpose of Backing the Future.
The Outcome
The identity gives the initiative a recognisable presence within an established philanthropic program. The films give participants and partners a way to explain their ideas through the people most closely involved, creating assets they can share beyond their immediate networks.
